then Vera's husband Arthur communicates with his wife.

The female voice of Dr Gustafson communicates with David, Mickey gives some evidence,

from an old friend
and a young man who died suddenly in Australia.

Lily speaks with her husband Harry and to Muriel and they discuss Harry’s music.

The voice of an opera singer named Mario speaks to Maria,

and he gives her the name Margareta, which puzzles Mickey!

Mickey gives a message to Ted, from a spirit doctor, about his eye cancer,

then he speaks to Brian about future developments in his work life

and even gives him some amusing marriage advice!

Finally, the faint voice of a family friend tries to speak to Brian,

as Mickey helps to provide evidence regarding a family tragedy…

The sitters and Leslie struggle at first to hear a whispering spirit voice,

before Mickey speaks clearly to everyone.

He chats with Brian, then to Ros, who hears from Harry Beaumont,

who remembers the London Spiritual Mission church and a medium named Thomas Wyatt.

The voice of Doris tries to communicate, someone asks for Evelyn,

then George speaks with his wife Ann about family matters.

George shares good evidence with Ann about a friend who recently died,

how they have an important anniversary in two weeks time,

and that he saw her looking at his old golf medal recently.

George also explains that they often meet in the spirit world while Ann lies sleeping.

Mickey laughs and jokes with Ann, Leslie and Brian,

then the voice of Nurse Griffiths speaks to Norma and Brian about their healing work.

The voice of Kahuna and an unknown female communicator also offer their support.

Mickey mentions Dr Elizabeth Garrett Anderson
and suggests that Norma and Brian could start their own healing sanctuary.

The voice of Ros Cattanach's son David speaks clearly to his mother and to Evelyn

and they discuss previous evidential communications.

In his usual amusing way, Mickey gives advice and good evidence to Ros and to a male sitter.

The voice of Margery Bell tries to communicate, followed by a male voice,

then Scotsman Robert Mackay speaks to Margaret about her family in Glasgow.

Mickey speaks to Margaret, then passes on a message to Eric from his wife Gladys,

about his friend the medium Doris Collins.

As the power fades, Mickey describes an old-fashioned schoolteacher to the sitters,

who no one recognises until the last moment...

Note: Although this audio has been enhanced from a degraded original, slight interference remains.

Recorded: April 2nd 1985

in Los Angeles, California

Communicators:

Mickey, Florence Hurst, Robert McDougall, non-English spirit voices.

Louis Federici

Mickey speaks very quietly at first as he greets all the sitters.

His voice gets stronger when he speaks to Leigh about her husband's business affairs

and becomes even louder when he speaks to Brian.

Mickey speaks to Robert about his wife, then to David and his mother.

He refers to the spirit of actor Charles Laughton,

who is showing concern about his wife on Earth, Elsa Lanchester (who later died in December 1986).

Mickey asks David if he is sceptical, then shares evidence about David's brother in the spirit world.

He refers to David's grandmother, then after a silence, the whispering voice of Florence begins to speak to Brian.

She shares details of her life and family, then Robert McDougall communicates.

Speaking quietly, Robert gives advice to Brian and tells everyone how our beloved animals survive in the spirit world.

He gives evidence to Frances and Marilyn, then shares a message of love with Robert Kennedy

from his wife Myoko in the spirit world.

After a short silence, Mickey returns and gives additional help and evidence to Frances and Marilyn.

He explains how he takes on his old personality whenever he communicates,

and that he is quite different in the spirit world - where time has no real meaning.

He answers questions about his life in the spirit world, and after a silence, a non-English language is heard.

As the sitters try to work out what is said,

Brian explains that the Hawaiian language was once recorded at a Leslie Flint séance.

After a female spirit voice tries to help, Mickey returns and speaks to Ramesh about his spirit guide.

He then tells everyone that the actor James Dean and his friend Nick Adams are present

- both of whom the sitter Louis Federici knew -

and that Adams will return to communicate at a later date.

As Mickey leaves, the sitters talk briefly about the séance...

Note: Although this audio is enhanced from a degraded original, some interference remains and some voices are very quiet.
